From a small team with a big idea to Malaysia's most recognized online casino and sports betting platform —1988ric has been built from the ground up for players who demand more. Better odds, faster payouts, and a platform that actually understands what Malaysian players want.
"We started 1988ric because we were players first. We knew exactly what was missing in the Malaysian online gaming market — and we built the platform we always wanted to use."
The name 1988ric carries a dual meaning: a nod to the year that symbolizes a generation of Malaysian players who grew up watching the sport they love and dreaming of a platform that respects both their intelligence and their loyalty.
Today, 1988ric serves players across Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Johor Bahru, Petaling Jaya, Shah Alam, Bangsar, and every corner of Malaysia. Whether you're catching a late-night Liga Super Malaysia match from Johor or playing live Baccarat from a Penang apartment, 1988ric is built to deliver a seamless experience regardless of where you are.
1988ric launched with a straightforward premise: Malaysian players deserve an online casino and sportsbook that combines world-class technology with genuine local understanding. That means supporting Touch 'n Go eWallet, DuitNow, FPX, and the full suite of Malaysian banking options from day one — not as an afterthought, but as a core design principle.
Our sports betting section was built with the Malaysian football fan in mind. From Liga Super Malaysia match odds to EPL weekend accumulators and live UFC fight betting, 1988ric covers the sports that Malaysians actually follow. Live in-play markets update in real time, and our odds engine is benchmarked against international standards to ensure competitiveness across every market.
On the casino side, 1988ric curates a library of over 1,200 games spanning high-RTP video slots, authentic live dealer tables — Baccarat, Blackjack, Roulette, Sic Bo — Asian-themed fishing games, and the fast-growing category of crash and instant games. Every title on the platform has been assessed for fairness, stability, and player experience before it goes live.
We take player security seriously. Our platform operates with256-bit SSL encryption across all data transmissions, two-factor authentication options on every account, and an automated fraud detection layer that monitors account activity continuously. When something looks unusual, our security team responds — not an algorithm alone, but real people reviewing flaged activity.
Withdrawals at 1988ric are consistently processed within 15 minutes for e-wallet methods and under one hour for bank transfers during standard processing hours. We believe your winings should reach you quickly, and we've built our back-office processes to deliver on that promise consistently, not just on good days.
We've built every feature of 1988ric around what Malaysian players actually ask for — not what's easiest to build.
1988ric was designed from scratch with Malaysian players in mind. Local payment methods, Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) as the primary currency, and content that reflects what players in KL, Penang, and Johor Bahru care about — it's not a localization job, it's the original design.
Our withdrawal infrastructure is engineered for speed. E-wallet withdrawals via Touch 'n Go, Boost, and GrabPay typically clear within 15 minutes. Bank transfers via Maybank, CIMB, and Public Bank process within the hour during normal operating windows.
All player data and transactions are protected by 256-bit SSL encryption. Two-factor authentication is available for every account. Our fraud detection team monitors accounts around the clock to protect your balance and personal information.
From Liga Super Malaysia to the English Premier League, UFC, and NBA, our sportsbook carries competitive odds across all major markets. Live in-play betting lets you act on how a match is actually unfolding — with markets updating in real time.
Every ringgit wagered earns loyalty points. Bronze, Silver, and Gold VIP tiers unlock progressively better cashback, higher limits, birthday bonuses, and dedicated account management. Long-term players are rewarded, not just new ones.
Our support team is available via live chat and email around the clock. Average live chat response time is under five minutes. Support agents are trained on Malaysian payment methods, local banking processes, and platform-specific queries — so you get accurate answers fast.

We are committed to operating with full transparency on odds, game mechanics, and payout processes so that every player can make informed decisions.
To be the most trusted online casino and sports betting platform in Southeast Asia — with Malaysia as our home base.
